News from the future: Some band called R.E.M. is apparently hitting the campaign trail again, wrapping up a set of shows in Dublin, where the groop played new tunes and some rare oldies.

For cool New Yorkers, you absolutely must hit up what's being billed as 77 Boa Drum, the Boredoms' 77 drum concert at the Brooklyn Bridge. Wow. I saw them in Tokyo with three drummers, and it was amazing. Multiply that by, um, 35 or whatever, and just imagine...
